We are uncertain. Our ways of being, making, and living are challenging. In ambiguity, we have this time at our machines to test our visceral curiosity of our known to the unknown. In this small experiment, 26 BGSU GD juniors were encouraged to engage in curious play as part of their remote learning in their ARTD 3060 GD Theory course.

Play requires dedication and discipline; thus, we offered a few processes and visual integrations to explore. A few rules: break a digital tool by using it outside of its intention, use orange, apply the pause symbol, express calm, use blackout poetry, express alone together, represent a face mask, and apply an analog process.

We proudly present this visual capture of COVID-19 making.
